“Hello there~! Welcome to the Hostess Club!” The brunette girl smiled kindly at her newest guest.

((Thank you for following!))

He stared at the bubbly girl. He awkwardly scratched the back of his head unsure of what to do.

“Um h-hi, where am I now?”

He looked around at the brilliantly decorated room. The soothing music clamed his nerves slightly as he finished scanning and his gaze returned to the girl. To be honest he want really sure how he stumbled upon such a place but since he did it wouldnt hurt to find out what it was all about.

“Well, you are in the Ouran High School Hostess Club!” She said proudly, gesturing to the room around them. “Here, I entertain the lovely boys of Ouran, and anybody else who requests my services.” She paused, looking back at the boy. “Oh, please forgive my lack of manners. I’m Kiyomi, queen of the hostess club.” She offered her hand for him to shake. “May I ask your name?”

He shook her hand.

“Takara, Im sorry. Im actually not a student of Ouran. Im here with the karate team for the match today. I was really just looking around, Kiyomi.”

He had heard stories of Ouran but never thought any were true. Then again, here he was in the most lavish school in the country surrounded by the wealthy. He was way out of his element. He looked down at his clothes. He was also extremely underdressed. His cheeks dawned a light pink. He was obviously not from this school. One would have to be a complete moron to not notice. He shifted his weight nervously. He was never really good with words to begin with.

“S-so what exactly do you do here?”

The question came out mumbled. He hated asking questions when he knew they seemed obvious.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Takara-kun.”She said, shaking his hand happily. “But please don’t apologize. Like I said, I’m here for anyone who desires my company, not just students of Ouran.” At his question, she paused for a moment to think. “Well, I run the club. My goal is to dote upon and bring happiness to anyone who needs it. The moment someone becomes my guest, my main concern becomes their happiness.” She smiled happily at the boy, and gestured to a table. “Do I have the honor of having you as my guest today?”

A slight smile crossed his face. There was more than enough time before the match and his coach did encourage the team to explore the school. He nodded and took a seat. To be honest he wasnt really sure what to expect.

"I wouldnt consider it ‘an honor’ to have me as a guest."

If anything he was honored that a girl of such status would offer to include him in the event. Her job would be easy if Arata didnt show up so he figured he’d enjoy it while it lasted.

And for the first time, Vittoria came to fear a human being. Naturally she was used to the screams. The begs of mercy. The tears and yet here, she stumbled upon one that knew and yet he opted to pull closer. Instinctively she took a step back. Close proximity seemed to cause her to be nervous, more so than she expected.

Perhaps he needed a wake up call. “I am a demon,” she stated bluntly, preparing for the fear he was sure to show. “From hell,” she added. Vittoria knew her flaw would catch up with her but so soon. Everything was alright as long as she was in control. As long as people feared her and she could move about with no worries or cares. Doing what she needed.

But her luck obviously ran out now. If he wasn’t afraid of her now, he wouldn’t be afraid to touch her and if he touched her…she wasn’t entirely sure what she’d do. “Does that upset you,” she questioned. “It should. To be in the same dwelling as a demon should frigthen  you.”

Her words echoed in his head. Here he was face to face with an actual demon. Something nightmares were made of. His basic human instinct should tell him to run, run as far and as fast as he could. He stood planted. It was surreal, to be in the presence of such a creature. He smiled.

“It should, shouldnt it…”

He was scared, terrified in fact, yet so curious. He wanted to know more about her. He studied her movements. They way she stood. If he wasnt mistaken it seemed was intimidated by him. He inched closer. How could such a lovely face be something so evil? He offered her his hand. It would either be the greatest or most idiotic decision he ever made.

His little smile made her eyebrow twitch. It should, shouldn’t it…Well yes it should! Did she have to bare her teeth? Growl? Lunge out at him for him to see this was no mere game? Her flushed lips pressed together a the hand that was offered.

Did he expect her to take it?

She huffed slightly. Men like him were the type of people she had come to sniff out and avoid. They put her in the greatest danger, ripping through her defenses, appealing to her nature and then without warning, they became her greatest enemies. She loved London and had no intentions of leaving again because she had made the same mistake as before.

Several of those mistakes of men were hunters. And for a moment she wondered if he was one as well.

The idea struck her like lightening. Had she let a hunter into her house? Her home. Her base where she hid at night? The hair on the back of her neck bristled.

It had been a harmless game. To toy with the human until she sent him running but he wasn’t running and the game had become anything but harmless.

The had was still out stretched. He would not get the better of her. Her hand flickered out, wrapped around his wrist and she closed the distance between them.  A loud growl emanated from her chest.

She was making all the wrong assumptions. But after centuries of not trusting her gut, it got her into sticky situations. “Who hired you?”

Her quick movements and sharp words startled him. Who hired you? What was she talking about? Obviously a demon would have some enemies but at that moment it was hard to think. In that split second his confidence in her wavered. He cleared his throat and tried to regain his composure.

“I dont work for anyone…”

It was but a whisper and try as he might a hint of fear lingered in his voice. Holding her gaze would have been a challenge if her eyes werent so captivating. At that point it was apparent that no matter what he said she most likely would not believe him, they way she jumped on the defensive. There was so much he wanted to say yet he didnt want to risk the chance of setting her off. He bit his tongue so hard it began to bleed. He focused on her grip. She could definitely crush his wrist with ease. His calm demeanor began to crumble at the realization of the situation. He thought back on his training and self discipline. In an instant his poker face returned and he met her icy stare with another warm smile.

“Im not here to hurt you, we both know I couldnt even if I wanted to. You could kill me right now and theres not a thing I can do about it…”

His voice was calm and steady. It usually was when he spoke his mind. They both knew he didnt have a chance, not that hed fight back. He wouldnt feel right hitting a girl, even if she was a demon.

There. It was there, that little hint of uncertainty that most humans carried with them but just as soon as it came it was gone and his annoying warm smile seemed to return, much fuller than before.

If he was not a hunter, then for what point and purpose did he managed to irk her so terribly? He was right that she could kill him in a second but a piece of her told her that was wrong.

Sadly, she was a woman with morals despite no life left in her. Innocent blood would not be spilled on her watch and especially in her Estate. Her icy green eyes stared at him for a moment longer before she released him.

She decided she hated him. For his silly warm smile and goofy trusting face. She hated it because she couldn’t have it and therefore hated him even more. Nonetheless her eyes darkened a hesitant shade as if she were still doubting before a hand lifted and ran through her hair slowly. A heavy sigh was breathed but she didn’t seem all that keen on him now.

Truth was (and hell knows she would never admit it) but she was quite nervous now. His lies were so easy if they were even lies. “Stop smiling.”

All he did was smile wasn’t it? And she wanted to tear that smile off his face but calm and composure was what she needed. They were there for tea, after all. The change was slow as she tilted her head, soft black ringlets of hair falling over her shoulders, “Well then. Since you’re not here to lob off my head and stick it on a spike and ride about town like a raving lunatic, then tea shall commence, shall it?”

Sadly however, this would be his first afternoon tea with her, and his last with anyone else.

His smile turned into one of relief as she released him. After her order it turned to a slight smirk rather than a smile. He nodded.

"Tea with a beautiful woman is meant to be joyful, is it not? Forgive my cheerfulness. Its how I keep my composure."

Anyone in their right mind would have taken the opportunity to leave. Even he didnt understand why he stayed. He was treading dangerous waters but it didnt matter. He remained at a comfortable distance from her, careful not to cross any boundaries or make her uneasy as he followed her.

She was just as elegant as she was terrifying. They way she walked, the way her hair moved in the wind. He couldnt put his finger on it but something drew him to her. Was it a need to warm to coldness of her eyes? or maybe that she was so dangerous she was untouchable. A force that he would never truly grasp or understand. He wanted to try. It was like a fly trying to court a black widow. He knew it was pointless, that she was beyond his reach but he had to try. He wanted to know more about her. No matter how terrible or horrifying she was he wanted to know more. He became lost in thought, placing his steps on autopilot.

Breaking Nostalgia II Open RP

ayanatsukigreen:

Aya was shaking, looking in the mirror. For days she had been like this, locked in her apartment. Not bothering to try. Not that anyone honestly cared. She only had one reason to pull herself out of what she was slipping back to. She wasn’t going to let her father win. He’d been dead for nearly half a year, and still he was controlling her life so well. “You look just like him…” She muttered, staring at herself. “Who am I kidding? You are just like him…” She pressed her eyes closed, swallowing as she blindly tied her hair back. She felt a few angry tears slip from her eyes, wiping them quickly. He’s not winning. He can’t win again. She thought defiantly, pulling her jacket over her tank top and stepping out of her apartment, not caring to lock the door. If someone was going to attack her, so be it. She needed something to keep her on her toes anyway. She flipped her phone open aimlessly reading through old messages as she walked down stairs, having no idea where she was going.

Once again Takara tried to fix things with his brother and once again it ended up in an all out fist fight. It seemed that he would never get through to his brother. They threw each other around the apartment for a bit before Takara was violently thrown out the door. He flew back smacking his head on the steps. Arata spat in his direction and closed the door. He sighed rubbing the back of his head. He turned to see a girl on the stairs and jumped to his feet. He bowed apologetically.

"Im terribly sorry. Did I hit you? Are you alright?"

It really seemed like a silly thing to say. He was the one thrown on the floor, not her, but it was in his nature to worry about others. He was afraid he might have bumped her when he fell. He face turned a light pink when he thought of how trivial his questions were.

bleached-rainbow:

Instantly the question brought a smile to her face. Time. It was always about the time and she thought that maybe, if she answered the question truthfully, she’d…

She led him in, her small fits of laughter still shaking her as he stuck close, ogling at her home. Yes it was lavish and it was colored in crimson red and gold. Her favorite colors. Her smile was bright until he questioned not of how she came to be but of what exactly was she. Now that, she had hoped, could have waited. It was a touchy subject, in her eyes and flexed her jaw, thinking of how to word it.

"Well, I’ll give you a little riddle. My home is where humanity is adored and punished. People are greedy. Greedy people are punished and denied the Gates. I am one of the few who pass judgement, embody them, then give them their own personal hell. Can you guess?" She had stopped walking and the lights in her home seemed to flicker to life, lighting the house in a dark reddish glow. She turned, tugging on her gloves. What in the world was she so ashamed of.

She was perfection at its finest.

But in her eyes, she was the monster. How ironic.

His question obviously struck a chord with her. He listened to her words intently. He was so fixated on her and what she had said the change of lighting had little to no effect on him. He figured if she had meant to kill him she would have done it already.

"The only things I can think of would be a reaper of sorts or a devil…"

Even hearing the words aloud could not change his view of her. Reaper? Devil? Monster? none of these suited her. He kept the distance between them for a moment and slowly stepped forward.

"Although I should be afraid, Im not…"

His voice was soft and warm yet confident. His eyes never left hers. She could probably kill him in an instant. He didnt know anything about her strength, her motive, or even why she would choose to keep him alive for this long. Yet he continued to step forward. He stopped in front of her looking down at her lovely face.

"To be honest, Im not even sure if my opinion of you will change once I find out."

His words were truthful and he believed no matter what, she wouldnt hurt him.
